The Kansas City BioHub (KC BioHub) is working to make this vision a reality. KC BioHub aims to strengthen the domestic production of biologic medicines for use in humans and animals while expanding our regional innovation ecosystem. This effort will position the Kansas City region as a global leader in the biomanufacturing of biologic medicines and therapies, playing a vital role in national security, economic security, and global health.
Therapies supported by the KC BioHub can combat the spread of emerging infectious diseases, improve cancer treatments, and protect our American food supply. We advance these technologies by growing our regional biomanufacturing industry, supporting entrepreneurs as they bring innovative technologies to market, and building collaborative community relationships across the region.
