Ronawk exists to let biology be biology and to empower innovators building the next generation of therapies. Most cell culture tools were not designed for human biology. They were built for simpler systems, not for the thousands of specialized mammalian cells that form our bodies.
Ronawk’s Bio-OS™ is an operating system for mammalian cells built from three connected layers: modular hardware, standardized operations, and living wetware. Its foundation is Bio-Blocks®, modular hydrogel substrates that provide cells with the structure and environment they need to interact, communicate, and organize more like they do in the human body. Standardized processes then create an operational layer that allows Bio-Blocks and cells to be combined for a wide range of research, development, and manufacturing applications. The final layer is the wetware, where living cells activate the system by forming sophisticated tissue-like structures and secreting valuable biologics.
This modular design is why Bio-OS has been used to cultivate more than 100 different mammalian cell types. By combining structure, process, and living biology, Bio-OS helps close the gap between discovery and manufacturing, giving innovators a more consistent, reliable, and scalable way to grow the cells and biologics they need.

TVAX Biomedical is a clinical stage development company advancing its novel targeted cell-based immunotherapy for the treatment of cancer.
Current cancer treatment options, which include surgery, radiation and/or chemotherapy, are not adequately meeting patient needs. Radiation and chemotherapy are highly toxic and rarely “cure” the patient by permanently eliminating the cancer. With more than 1.5 million new cases of cancer diagnosed and more than 500,000 cancer deaths in the U.S. each year, more effective, less toxic treatment options are desperately needed.

T3SSIMUNE is combining two innovative technologies to create a single vaccine that broadly protects against a range of bacterial strains. Live-attenuated vaccines generally protect against only one or two strains of bacteria. By targeting the shared common characteristics between all serotypes, they can encourage the body to produce antibodies that defend against many more.
It sounds simple but it’s actually a complex platform involving a protein fragment antigen complex and a nanoparticle delivery system. To make it happen, T3SSIMUNE researchers are applying their specialized experience in vaccines and microbiology.
